Very few adjectives can go before the noun in Italian. The rest are positioned right after the noun. Bello- meaning beautiful or buono- meaning good, grande – meaning large, and brutto- meaning ugly are definitely the most commonly used preceding adjectives in Italian, and yet they don't necessarily have to be placed before the noun.
